When Even Upside Down Feels Like Home
Gravity is a suggestion — when you trust your foundation, even upside down feels like home.
Meeting Paige Watson was one of those moments that stays with you. She has the kind of smile that instantly changes the energy in a room — genuine, bright, and full of excitement. Paige is pure joy. Kind, enthusiastic, and completely in love with dance in the most honest way.
Dedicated doesn’t even begin to cover it. Paige shows up ready, focused, and excited for every part of the process. You can feel how much dance means to her, not as pressure, but as something she truly loves. That kind of passion is rare, especially at such a young age.
During her photoshoot, her mom said something that stopped me in my tracks. She told me Paige would never forget this moment — that it would be a core memory for her. And she was right. Those moments matter. Being seen, celebrated, and encouraged at this stage shapes how kids see themselves as they grow. It’s something Paige will carry with her, whether she realizes it now or not.
What made it even more special was later meeting her dad in passing on another day. Just like Paige, he was warm, happy, and genuinely kind. It made so much sense. The love and support surrounding her are obvious, and it shows in the way she moves through the world.
This session took place at True Dance Potential, a space that continues to foster confidence, creativity, and growth in young dancers. Paige fit right in — fearless, joyful, and completely herself.
Paige, thank you for your smile, your energy, and your excitement for dance. Thank you for trusting me with such a meaningful moment in your journey. I can’t wait to see where life and dance take you next.
