Some sessions stay with you—and this one is absolutely one of them.
I had the honor of photographing Savy Lieberman on her 11th birthday, and instead of a party or presents, she chose something incredibly special: a dance and headshot photoshoot. From the moment she arrived, her excitement was contagious. There was so much joy, confidence, and anticipation in the air—it was clear this experience meant a lot to her.
To make the day even more memorable, I surprised Savy with a slow-motion video reel, capturing her movement, personality, and presence in a cinematic way. That reel was later shared on Instagram, but the real magic happened in the moment—watching her light up while doing what she loves most.
Sessions like this are a reminder of why I do what I do. Photography and videography aren’t just about images or clips—they’re about preserving moments in time, especially milestones like this. Turning 11 is a big moment, and choosing to celebrate it through dance and creativity made this session truly unique.
I’m incredibly grateful that I was the one who got to spend part of Savy’s birthday with her, capturing these memories alongside her mom. Thank you both for trusting me with such a meaningful day—it was an absolute joy.
